Birthday Challenges

Today I made a few different Birthday cards each after a different challenges from a few that I follow. I have 11 birthdays this month between family and friends.

First cards was done after Hand Stamped Sentiments HHS82 with using only one color, you could use different shades but only one color, I choose Cherry Cobbler:

Second card I create was after Stamping 411 Saturday Challenge. Last but not least was a birthday card using the ColourQ 100 Challenge which had a sketch and any of the past Colour Q sets to follow, I choose Island Indigo, Pool Party, Early Espresso, Calyspo Coral & Whisper White. The designer paper if from Domestic Goodness and I also used the Boho Blossom punch to create the flowers along with the Itty Bitty Shapes punch for the center.

Happy Birthday Boys for MOJO 206

I am back from a very busy weekend of racing, I wish I could tell you that I won but that did not happen. I create my card from the MOJO206 as I have a few birthdays coming up for a few men & boys in the family. I used the Frostwood Lodge designer paper which will be available in just 2 days. I love the color combinations Marina Mist & Cherry Cobbler which is the card stock, I also used a little Early Espresso in the background. The stamp "Happy Birthday is from a new Hostess set called Happiest Birthday Wishes, it could be yours with a qualifying order for more information please Click Here The cupcake stamp is very old from a set called Out of the Box from 2008. I have quite a few old sets that I still love to used. I try and use as many of the new set that I can to show all the great item Stampin UP has to offer but sometimes the older stamps get a little jealous so I have to blow the dust off of them every once in awhile.

SUO 26 & SQSC1 Challenges

Hello Fellow stampers, tonight I created and invitation inspired by StampinUP Only Challenges  and I used the sketch from The Paper Players #60 Challenge. I have been in the Christmas spirit as I have now finished my HUGE order of Christmas cards. Which I am ready for another order if anyone is interested, just Email ME.
I used the Holly Berry Bouquet designer paper along with Real Red, So Saffron, Wild Wasabi and Very Vanilla card stock. I also used So Saffron & Wild Wasabi ribbon and a few different punches one I forgot I had, the snowflake punch which was great for the background design.

Stocking Stamp MOJO 205

I am back today with a card I create from the MOJO 205. I used the stamp set Stitched Stockings and the new  Stocking Builder Punch from the new Holiday Mini. This is one of my favorite new stamps sets and punch, I just love this set so I made the 2nd card just because. The Designer series paper is Holly Berry Bouquet and the card stock is Real Red, Wild Wasabi & So Saffron & the same color inks.

I am so excited for the new catalog to become available to all of you September 1st so I am sure you will call love the new items as much as I do. I will be bake Thursday with some more cards as I will be drag racing tomorrow.

Wedding Wishes

 I know I said I would be showing you all some more things from the new Holiday Mini, however my niece is getting married this December and I am a bridesmaid. I wanted to make her a few things for her to look at for little decorations. I really enjoyed creating these items for her to help celebrate her very special day. Her colors are Wine & Champagne so I choose Rich Razzleberry & Very Vanilla for this Wonderful Winter wedding.

The Matchbox was made with a Bigz XL Die cut, I used the brights collection designer series paper Rich Razzleberry and very vanilla card stock, The stamps are, Its a Wrap Occasions & an old stamp set called Cute as A Bug which is retired. I used some Hershey's Nugget chocolates which are very yummy.

The second is a cupcake that I was thinking I would make a few of them to sit on the Cake table. I got the idea from Creations on Paper, on this project I used Rich Razzleberry & Crumb Cake card stock with a little very vanilla for the flower on top which was punch with the Boho Blossoms punch, the icing is made with the Full Heart punch, I also used the Basic Pearls embellishments to give it that something it needed.

NEW Stuff & PPA107

Hello my fellow stampers and all others, My first card I made this evening was after the  PPA107 Pals Paper Challenge 107 I try and play along with a few of the challenges to help my get past the stampers block.  I used the new IN Color Pool Party #122924 and Pear Pizzazz #119795 and the designer paper,Spice Cake and 1" square punch are from the the New Holiday Mini coming out September 1st (to the public). The ribbon is as Pool Party #122975. I and not the best at making the bows with the ribbon as you can see it is not much of a bow. I also did some embossing with the Silver embossing powder #109131, I used two different stamps sets, Cute by the Inch #120130 and Pretty Postage #123097. I really am liking the new items in the Holiday Mini so I also created this Christmas Card.

Here is a Surprise box I made for my niece for her Birthday as it is coming up soon (Happy Birthday Jackie bet you want to know what is inside). I created this for the SU Only Challenge 25 Using my Favorite new stamp which is from Happiest Birthday Wishes (a hostess set),and cheerful treat designer series paper(which is apart of the buy 3 get 1 FREE)  I just love all the differant ways it says Happy Birthday which I used about everyone of them with all the Birthdays I know for the month of August.

Back From Vacation

I am back from a wonderful weeks vacation and back at my card making. I received an order for 75 Christmas cards after my last post so I have been very busy the last two nights getting busy on this order. I designed this card from theMOJO Monday 204 sketch challenge. I try and make a card for each of the challenges to give myself a differant idea on card designs.
Keep your eyes on my blog as I will be getting some NEW stamps from the new Holiday Mini from Stampin UP catalog which will available to the public September 1st, (to me Aug 1st, you could be a demonstrator too just email me) I will previewing some of the new sets later this week to give you some great ideas.

Christmas in ... Well August

Today I got a order for a few Christmas cards so I dug out the  ole Christmas stamps and got to work. The snow globe is one of my favs. I will say it took a few minutes to think out Christmas as I can be a bit of a scrooge when it comes to Christmas but making these cards put me in the spirit as It is only 5 months away. With the Cherry Cobbler card stock along with Jolly Holiday Designer paper (retired) was at the bottom of the piles. One of the cards is made with the Top Note Bigz die (113463) and Greeting Card Kids Clear stamp set (120633) The Merry Christmas is stamped with a very old stamp set from 1998 called Gingerbread Christmas. The other card I used  my heat gun with silver embossing power and old stamp set  Snow Globe from 2002, I guess it is time to get some of the newer holiday stamps to use. Oh darn that gives me an excuse to shop the NEW Catalog

Lovin the new IN COLORS

Hello All, Today I made this card from the MTMEPPS20 which is My Time Made Easy, they have some great sketches to choose from when you have stampers block which I get quite often lately, LOL. I just love the new 2011-2013 IN Colors from Stampin Up which you can see HERE, also used is the New designer series paper Berry Blossoms which features 3 of the new colors.
